We’re the couple who thinks a truck camper is basically a condo on a pickup.
Hi! We’re a husband-and-wife team who’ve spent 20+ years roaming Oregon’s mountains, crabbing on the coast, hiking deep green forests, and boating/fishing lakes that steal your breath (and sometimes your lures). We’re avid RV campers, but not the “bring the living room with you” type—no offense, fifth-wheel friends! We like being outside, so we run lean with a truck camper. It parks almost anywhere a car can, and when we’re done exploring, our tiny home is right there on the back of the truck.
Somewhere between camp coffee and cleaning crab pots, we realized: camping and survival shouldn’t feel complicated or grim. They should feel fun—like a hobby anyone can jump into at any age.
So we built this place!
Our Mission (a.k.a. Why We Packed the Internet Into a Gear Shop)
Make camping & survival:
Fun — fewer “doomsday vibes,” more s’mores and star maps.
Simple — clear guides, honest descriptions, and gear that actually works.
Accessible — options for kids, beginners, old pros, city folk, night-owls, and early birds.
We curate thousands of products so you don’t have to doom-scroll until your battery dies. You’ll find the classics, clever new gadgets, and the “why didn’t I buy this sooner?” stuff.
What You’ll Find Here
Shelter & Sleep: tents, truck-camper add-ons, tarps, quilts, mats—from cushy to ultralight.
Fire & Water: filters, purifiers, stoves, ferro rods, matches—because hot chocolate beats cold hands.
Navigation & Safety: compasses, headlamps (yes, red light fans), first-aid, tourniquets, bear spray.
Camp Kitchen: pots, skillets, coffee gadgets, spice kits—campsite → five-star(ish).
Tools & Fix-Its: knives, multitools, repair tape, cordage—because something always wiggles loose.
Kids & New Campers: starter kits, easy wins, durable basics.
Truck Camper & RV Essentials: leveling, storage, power, and “where did we put the thing for the other thing?” organizers.
PNW Tested. If it survives Oregon rain + beach sand + forest dust, it’s probably a keeper.
Our Vibe
Safety first, fun always. (We like our adventures memorable for the right reasons.)
Plain English. No gear-speak decoder ring required.
Try before you buy (with your eyes). Photos, specs, size guides—so the thing you picture is the thing you get.
No gatekeeping. Day-hikers, over landers, backyard tent-pitchers—pull up a camp chair.
